The project involved creating the promotional graphics for the event, primarily adaptable to A3 format for posters and vertical Instagram posts, along with the editing of a promotional reel (using archival footage) and a post-event reel (filming on the night of the event).
The communication is for a DJ set in a parking lot in central Milan, organized by a youth-student political association.
Philosophy
The theme of the party is “trash”: pop songs from the ’90s and ’00s, unexpected remixes, a nostalgic journey through fun songs and political chants, but above all, it’s meant to be fun. Fun is political, all people have the right to enjoy themselves, to be a community, to exist in the public sphere.
In a city like Milan having fun, dancing, meeting friends is often expensive and in spaces that do not care about accessibility and inclusivity, this party is to promote another way of socializing.

To reflect this mood, I chose to use photos from previous editions, combining one that brings the group to the foreground with a background image, and applying a treatment with acid gradients. The lettering for the event title also has a grunge style, as it’s not a refined party.
Everything is framed by the essential event information, connected by a thin white line that creates a structured layer for the data, while suggesting more freedom in the image layer.
This concept of photo + experimental lettering + data frame will be maintained for subsequent editions of the event.
This project was developed along the course “Grafica in Musica” held by Studio Ortica and Magnolia Club.
