FOR THE ROSES

But architecture was not my path. After two year of working in a studio, and four years being and activist and graphic designer for a local cultural and political organizer, I realized that what I wanted to do was working with visuals: here i found room for creativity, for being radical, for making interesting design with small budgets.
For doing my part in changing the world though beauty.

Hearts starve as well as bodies;
give us bread, but give us roses!
As we come marching, marching,
unnumbered women dead
Go crying through our singing
their ancient cry for bread.
Small art and love and beauty
their drudging spirits knew.
Yes, it is bread we fight for
but we fight for roses, too!
